cancellation policy

General Terms

Our cancellation policy is in addition to your statutory rights. You may end the contract with us on the following terms:

  • If you communicate your cancellation to us no less than seven (7) days before the agreed start time of the services the contract will end immediately and you will receive a full refund of the price;
  • If you communicate your cancellation to us within the period between seven (7) days and 48 hours before the agreed start time of the services the contract will end immediately and you will be refunded 50% of the price; or
  • If you communicate your cancellation to us less than 48 hours before the agreed start time of the services the contract will end immediately and no refund will be given.

Cancellation Policy for Large Events (Value Above £10,000)

  1. Deposit and Payment Structure
    1. A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total event value is required at the time of booking confirmation.
    2. 50% 2 months before the event
    3. The remaining 25% is due 1 month prior to the event.
    4. An additional payment of 10% of the total event value is required 14 days before the event to cover any last-minute expenses.
  2. Cancellation Policy
    1. More than 60 days before the event: Full refund of any payments made, except the non-refundable deposit.
    2. 30 to 60 days before the event: 50% of the total event value will be refunded, excluding the non-refundable deposit.
    3. 14 to 30 days before the event: 25% of the total event value will be refunded, excluding the non-refundable deposit.
    4. Less than 14 days before the event: No refunds will be issued.
  3. Postponement Policy
    1. Postponement requests made more than 30 days before the event will be accommodated without additional charges, subject to availability. Any payments made will be transferred to the new event date.
    2. Postponement requests made less than 30 days before the event will incur a rescheduling fee of 10% of the total event value, in addition to the transfer of any payments made.
  4. Force Majeure
    1. In the event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the client's control (such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or other emergencies), the deposit and any additional payments may be applied to a future event date within one year, subject to availability and agreement between both parties.
  5. Written Notice
    1. All cancellation or postponement requests must be submitted in writing and will be effective from the date received by HOMETAINMENT.
  6. Agreement to Terms
    1. By confirming a booking, the client agrees to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this cancellation policy.

This policy ensures clarity and fairness for both parties, providing a structured approach to managing cancellations and covering any unforeseen last-minute expenses.

Cancellation policy for December

  • If you communicate your cancellation to us no less than twenty-one (21) days before the agreed start time of the services the contract will end immediately and you will receive a full refund of the price;
  • If you communicate your cancellation to us within the period between twenty-one (21) days and fourteen (14) days before the agreed start time of the services the contract will end immediately and you will be refunded 50% of the price; or
  • If you communicate your cancellation to us less than fourteen (14) days before the agreed start time of the services the contract will end immediately and no refund will be given.
