Awsa is a London-based singer and songwriter. As a solo artist Awsa has performed on stages as diverse as the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury, the Royal Albert Hall, Koko and Notting Hill Arts Club and for events ranging from weddings and birthdays to fashion shows.
As a backing vocalist, Awsa has sung for Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Emeli Sandé, Stevie Wonder, Gorgon City and David Guetta.
From acoustic and intimate to a full blown band, Awsa offers a range of shows tailored to your HOME event. Comprising of Awsa with a full band of the UK’s finest musicians; two backing vocals, drums, keys, guitar and bass plus a sound engineer. Give your guests that festival feel in your own garden. We’ll rock up to your HOME and rock your party out. The exact set list, rather than the amount of musicians on stage, will set the tone of your party. - This specially curated list will set an intimate and engaging atmosphere for you and your guests. Running through well known tunes from old school soul classics by Roberta Flack, Etta James and Aretha to present day songs by John Mayer and London Grammar, this set will wrap itself around your guests and sing them to a good place. A selection of songs from the Spotify reference list will be played, influenced by the set up of musicians chosen.
MOTOWN CLASSICS
- This list brings an upbeat, funky vibe to any gathering. Songs with a mid tempo drive, happy spirit and cool feel help create a playful atmosphere for your guests to engage in. Whether they want to sing along, kick back and bop their head or throw some shapes, this set list will lift up and bring together any group of people who want to have a good time.
POPTASTIC PARTY
- Running the gauntlet from 80s pop to present day dance, this list will have your guests singing along and rocking out from beginning to end. Inspired by an exclusive London wedding who insisted on a roof-raising experience, this setlist brings a club vibe right to your doorstep.
