Their diverse background spans luxury brands, millinery, art direction, and event curation. Together, they craft immersive hat and headdress workshops/bespoke experiences tailored for events and intimate gatherings.
Their 'The Art of Play,' workshops have been meticulously designed to stimulate imagination, facilitate relaxation and foster complete transformation. What's good for the head, can be great for the heart.
With an illustrious portfolio, they've designed for Vogue, Mario Testino, London Fashion Week, Elle Magazine and Rockstar Games.
Meeting whilst running creative events over ten years ago, Karen and Lou were an instant powerhouse of creativity, some years later, Haus of Vagabond was born.

Welcome to ‘The Art of Play’, reigniting the magic of adornment with a boutique festival vibe.

We’re on a mission to bring back play to the everyday. We understand that adornment is way more than mere aesthetics - it’s a language, an expression of identity, a forge for social bonds. It’s good for our heads, and good for our hearts. Clothes and accessories have powers: it's a fact. They tell stories about who we are and change the way we think and act. Our workshops are designed to show our guests that once they embrace adornment, playful transformation flows.

The Experience
Ooze sophistication, decadence and style inspired by a bygone era. With an effortless Edwardian edge, you will boogie and beguile from day to night. Think, plumes, frills, flowers, lace and beads.

Over the course of this 1hr workshop experience you will inject your ideas and intentions into the making process and produce your one-of-a-kind headwear creation. You will be creating a show-stopper headpiece using felt and elastic for the base and a rich selection of hand-picked materials and embellishments. This headpiece can be worn on the side of your head or attached to a hat.To add your headpiece to a hat during the workshop please bring one along with you.
